Special Board Meeting: Concerns Over Community Room Use and Policy

November 16, 2017

OPENING – 4:00 p.m.

  • Chair Nikki called the meeting to order at 4:01 p.m.

Trustees present: Warren Neyenhuis, Nikki McConnell, Jennifer De Groot, Brittany McKenzie, and Bob Ratcheson.

Staff present: Mark Wetherington, Library Director.

Discussion

Nikki opened the meeting with remarks on the topic of concern and provided clarification on the circumstances of the room’s use by groups.

 

Katelyn Andersen ensured the participants had the four documents provided at the sign-in table. She reviewed and gained consensus from the group on the ground rules of the meeting; introduced the idea of the parking lot; and the focused topic discussion of the meeting.

 

Ground Rules

The meeting ended at 5:30 p.m. The next meeting of the library board is scheduled for Thursday, November 16th, at 9 a.m. in the meeting room of the library.
