Interlibrary Loans Policy

The Bitterroot Public Library may request from other libraries items that are not available to patrons locally or through the Montana Shared Catalog sharing group (“Partners”).

• This service is limited to Bitterroot Public Library card holders.
• Patrons are allowed 12 no-cost ILL items per year. After 12 items, a $5 per item fee to cover postage will be charged and must be paid before the item can be checked out to the patron.
• The patron is responsible for all materials borrowed from another library
  and any associated fees or charges for lost or damaged items.
